As we have seen earlier, a split identity often dictates that the movie will have a twist at its end. This scene represents the very moment when the mystery unfolds, it only takes a few seconds for the spectator to understand that he has been fooled.

I wanted to show with this exemple that split personalities do not have gender limitation, and that is used by almost every director dealing with this subject.

We are going to analyse the twist ending of the movie Dressed to Kill by Brian De Palma. As we have seen in Secret Window and will see in Dressed to Kill the twist ending always goes along with the Dissociative Identity Disorder.
